Job summary

Mazzella is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for our Cleveland location. This morning-shift role (Mon–Fri) requires operating a Picker and Reach truck, maintaining ERP records, and preparing shipments with accuracy.

Responsibilities include verifying tickets, packing and labeling, loading/unloading, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring safety compliance. Strong math, communication, and PC skills are essential; background checks and E-verify are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred; trade school or military experience a plus
• Operate ERP system functions as well as UPS Worldship and maintain shipping/receiving records
• Inspect, bundle, count and verify product or material specified on fabrication or delivery ticket
• Prepare, complete and process paperwork; enter ship quantities in the system
• Select packaging material, package, secure, attach label, weigh and ship per fabrication ticket
• Load and unload trucks as required
• Move, handle and store material as necessary
• Plan, coordinate and schedule activities with various departments and outside carriers to meet ship dates
• Pull inventory items for shipment; replenish inventory; provide cycle counts and record into the system
• Arrange for freight pickup; obtain proof of delivery as required
• Operate forklifts as required; forklift license preferred
• Receive products and record into ERP system
• Maintain Mazzella Quality Assurance Standards; report defects
• Maintain consignment materials
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Prepare items for shipment and ensure correct quantities
• Move materials and load/unload trucks as needed

• Ensure quality standards and proper labeling and paperwork
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment
