Job summary

Kreate, a family-owned plastic injection molding company headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. You will oversee inbound and outbound shipments and the internal movement of products between the plant and satellite warehouses, ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

The role requires 3+ years in shipping/receiving and inventory coordination, proficiency with WMS/ERP and MS Office, forklift certification, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in shipping, receiving, and inventory coordination in manufacturing or distribution.
• Familiarity with plastic injection molding industry is a plus.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving, logistics, and inventory management.
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receiving and inspection of materials from external suppliers and ensure quality and accuracy.
• Plan and schedule shipments to customers, coordinating transportation modes and carriers to meet deadlines and control costs.
• Move materials between the facility and satellite warehouses to optimize inventory and distribution.
• Lead picking, packing, and loading for outbound shipments with accurate documentation.
• Maintain organized inventory storage with proper labeling and rotation to prevent discrepancies.
• Use WMS/ERP to track shipments, monitor inventory, and generate reports.
• Resolve shipping, receiving, or inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Continuously improve shipping/receiving processes to reduce lead times and boost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with shipping/storage regulations, including hazardous materials if applicable.
• Provide leadership to shipping/receiving teams and promote safety and accountability.
