Job summary

Materion is seeking a Shipping & Receiving professional in Ohio to unload, weigh, check, and deliver incoming shipments and to weigh, check, package, and load outgoing shipments. The role requires operating a forklift, using SAP systems, and maintaining records.

The position emphasizes safety and accuracy in handling materials and packaging processes. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of forklift experience, with preference for pallet jack and overhead crane

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to use computer workstations.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Supply chain knowledge with emphasis on shipping & receiving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for receiving incoming shipments and for packaging and loading outgoing materials.
• Verify contents, specifications, quantities, and weights against documents.
• Perform operator maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Construct shipping containers, including unusual sizes or configurations.
• Inspect for damaged material and notify appropriate personnel.
