Job summary

CJ Logistics America in Stockton, CA is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to be the main contact for drivers at the Welcome Center. You will verify shipments, manage schedules, and support dock and yard operations while maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include greeting drivers, assigning doors, processing Bills of Lading, and updating shipment schedules in our WMS. Strong organization and teamwork are essential for success in this hybrid warehouse/office role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and sign drivers in and out, verifying paperwork.
• Assign dock doors and coordinate with yard and warehouse teams.
• Process Bills of Lading and related shipping and receiving documentation.
• Maintain real-time door and yard reports.
• Update inbound/outbound shipment schedules in WMS.
• Coordinate yard movements with the spotter to optimize flow.
• Provide responsive customer service to internal and external customers.
• Report issues to leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance.
