Job summary

Qualifications

• General computer experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred.
• Ability to read basic blueprints (situational).
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and procedures to complete tasks.
• Ability to research and present recommendations to improvements and controls.
• Ability to operate hand/fork trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receives, identifies, stores and delivers a wide variety of raw material and manufactured/purchased parts for processing, assembly, machining, or direct shipment.
• Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.
• Maintains inventory records, performs cycle counts, and reconciles variances.
• Works with vendors and purchasing agents; assists in updating standard work instructions.
• Operates materials handling equipment to move stock and organize storage.
• Ensures safe handling and disposal of waste per policy and regulations.
