Job summary

PCNA in Florida is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk II to ensure accurate, on-time processing of shipments and receipt of materials. The role supports production, logistics, and inventory control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will verify shipment data, maintain records, and coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues, while following safety and process procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet shipping deadlines.
• Basic computer and data entry skills, with the ability to learn shipping and inventory systems.
• Clear communication skills to coordinate with coworkers, supervisors, and carriers.
• Ability to identify shipment discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and escalate concerns when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, label, and process outgoing shipments according to order requirements and carrier procedures.
• Receive incoming equipment, materials, and supplies; verify quantities and condition against shipment records and report discrepancies.
• Confirm orders scheduled to ship are accounted for and in the correct location.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, scheduling, and department supervisors to resolve order and inventory issues.
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment and inventory information using department systems and carrier software.
• Keep shipping supplies organized and available, perform routine equipment care, and report equipment issues.
• Follow established shipping, routing, and safety procedures.
• Suggest practical improvements to shipping accuracy, organization, and workflow.
