Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Harlan, Iowa. You will verify outgoing shipments, prepare items for shipment, and select shipment methods to meet schedules. You’ll also handle clerical tasks and ensure accuracy in records.

The role emphasizes hands-on shipping, forklift/crane training opportunities, and adherence to SDS/Hazcom shipping regulations. Prior shipping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience a plus, will train.
• Overhead crane experience a plus, will train.
• Experience with measurement devices a must.
• Crating or carpentry experience a plus, will train.
• UPS Worldship experience a plus.
• Export paperwork experience a plus.
• Understanding SDS/Hazcom shipping regulations.

Responsibilities

• Verify and keep records on outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
• Determine the method of shipment and affix shipping labels on cartons.
