Job summary

WEG is seeking a Shipping Clerk to perform shipping and receiving tasks, verify materials received, and route items to appropriate departments. You will operate forklifts and cranes, unload products, and ensure accuracy of driver and Bill of Lading documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Candidates should have 1–3 years shipping/receiving experience, forklift certification, and proficient MS Office skills. High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks and verify materials received are as ordered
• Move equipment and parts using forklifts and cranes
• Unload products and prepare them (labeling, palletizing, shrink-wrapping)
• Verify driver, trailer, and bills for each shipment
• Process shipments with FedEx, UPS, and other carriers
• Create Bills of Lading and other shipping documents as required
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely order flow
• Cross-train within the department to broaden skills
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace following company policies
• Elevate production or downtime issues for timely resolution
