Responsibilities

• Enter receipts into ERP/WMS systems.
• Label, store, and organize materials in warehouse locations.
• Prepare outgoing shipments; pick, pack, and stage orders.
• Load/unload trucks using forklifts and other equipment.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to prioritize material flow.
• Maintain inventory through cycle counts and audits.
• Ensure safety procedures including forklift operation.
• Handle bills of lading, shipping manifests, and carrier paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments; inspect for damage, verify quantities, and match against purchase orders and packing slips


• Accurately enter receipts into ERP/WMS systems


• Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations


• Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders


• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment


• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to prioritize material flow


• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and regular audits


• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including proper forklift operation


• Handle documentation such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and carrier paperwork


• Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to appropriate teams

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• 1–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred


• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)


• Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS experience preferred)


• Ability to read shipping documents and follow work instructions


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly


• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment operation
