Job summary

Clair Global is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to prepare, track, log, and distribute all shipments via Federal Express, UPS, and local delivery. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include selecting shipping routes, preparing documents, entering records in the ERP system, receiving goods, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery.

• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills with a passion for detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and to meet deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills in work processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Office applications).
• Excellent interpersonal and friendly customer service skills.
• Demonstrated maturity and judgement.
• Must be able to lift-up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Forklift certified a plus

Responsibilities

• Research and supply shipping options and cost for large domestic equipment shipments
• Prepare items for shipment: Pack, seal and label as required.
• Determine method of shipping utilizing knowledge of shipping products, routes, and rates.
• Prepare shipping documents.
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or issue instructions for shipping and delivery of packages.
• Verify and enter records of outgoing shipments in the company ERP system.
• Receive incoming shipments using the company ERP system; verify accuracy of items received.
• Deliver or route materials to all departments using hand truck, delivery cart or forklift.
• Communicate damages, shortages, or nonconformance to appropriate company personnel.
• Collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure inbound/outbound packages are delivered and received in a timely manner.
• Maintain required documentation for all incoming/outgoing Federal Express, UPS, and local delivery shipments.
• Participate in loading and unloading trucks when necessary.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
