Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving using ERP system
• Pack goods to meet internal and customer expectations
• Accept and sign for deliveries
• Load and unload shipments
• Operate forklifts and hand tools as needed
• Inspect contents of shipments on arrival
• Process returns (RMA) for defective items
• Create purchase orders for subcontract work
• Check shipping documents for accuracy
• Communicate with other departments to resolve discrepancies
• Keep shipping area clean and organized
• Coordinate transfers to other locations
• Conduct inventory as required
• Report major delays or problems
• Support supervisor with other duties as assigned

Job Description: The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing the flow of materials and products into and out of the facility. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, timely processing of shipments, and proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ERP system to coordinate and prioritize shipping and receiving schedules
• Pack goods to meet internal and customer expectations
• Accept and sign for deliveries
• Load and unload shipments
• Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment
• Open boxes and inspect contents of shipments
• Process returns (RMA's) for defective or incorrect items
• Create purchase orders for subcontract work
• Check shipping documentation for accuracy
• Contact departments to resolve shipment discrepancies
• Store, restock, and shelf delivery items as necessaryEnsure the shipping area is clean and organized
• Coordinate transfers for shipments moving to another location
• Conduct inventory as required
• Report major or unresolved shipment delays or problems
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications
