Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years of warehouse, receiving, dock, or freight-handling experience preferred.
• Familiar with receiving procedures, shipping documents, and inventory controls.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Research and enter data in various systems to support departments.
• Compile data and provide regular reports to management for review.
• Assist with quality assurance and loss prevention functions.
• Investigate missing cartons, scanning failures, and data analysis.
• Document and report freight shortages, overages, damages, and receiving discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized dock areas with clear aisles, exits, and access to emergency equipment.
• Complete shift reports and provide clear handoffs regarding pending freight, exceptions, and priorities.
