Job summary

Crane Company in Texas is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to plan, organize, prepare, and stage products for shipment and to manage all freight and paperwork for stock. You will coordinate with carriers to ensure timely processing and accurate documentation.

The role requires hands-on experience in manufacturing/warehousing, strong computer skills (Excel/MMS), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and work a flexible schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; team lift for heavier items.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and MS Office; ability to perform shipping/receiving transactions.
• Forklift and overhead crane operation certification.

Responsibilities

• Release, prepare, stage, package, crate, palletize, box, weigh, label, and load product per procedures and customer requirements.
• Perform all computer transactions to support shipping activity and process shipments through UPS and FedEx; manage HTS codes as needed.
• Create shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading), label containers, and consolidate orders.
• Receive, verify, and enter incoming freight against purchase orders; pull and receive outside process work orders.
• Maintain accurate records and enter orders in required systems (e.g., QAD, NetSuite, Eagle TMS).
