Job summary

Pathmark Transportation is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with data entry, track shipments, and help maintain accurate inventory records. The role requires at least two years in warehouse or freight-handling, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years of warehouse, receiving, dock, or freight-handling experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of receiving procedures, shipping documents, and inventory controls.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems and handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Researches, and data entries various systems to support respective departments.
• Compiles data and provides various regular and report to management for review and determination.
• Quality assurance/ loss Prevention essential functions
• Researches missing Cartons, Scanning Failures, Data Analysis.
• Document and report freight shortages, overages, damages, and receiving discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized dock areas with clear aisles, exits, and access to emergency equipment.
• Complete shift reports and provide clear handoffs regarding pending freight, exceptions, and priorities.

Pathmark Transportation is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk supports to various management and operational functions, including but not lmitid to, photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, answeringtelephone calls.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and movement throughout the dock.




• Ability to assist with freight handling within established safe lifting limits and use team lifting or mechanical assistance when needed.




• Work around moving equipment, truck traffic, warehouse noise, and varying temperatures.




• Availability to work assigned shifts, overtime, and weekends as operational needs require.



• Ability to lift 70LBS


• Bi-Lingual- Preferred


• Experience with Microsoft office, Web based, TMS Application- Required
