Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Spring Lake, MI is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This role focuses on accurate documentation, inventory control, and timely material flow in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include preparing shipping docs, inspecting incoming goods, operating forklifts, labeling and packaging per specs, and coordinating with production and logistics. Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years shipping/receiving experience, plus ERP/barcode

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years shipping/receiving in manufacturing.
Forklift certification preferred; able to operate pallets.
Experience with inventory software and barcode scanning.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs forms.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, components, and finished goods, noting discrepancies.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
Package and label products according to customer specifications and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and physical counts.
Coordinate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper securing of shipments for transport.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on warehouse equipment.
