Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in St. Johns, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to log materials, verify against orders, and support inventory accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments, preparing outbound loads, operating forklifts, and maintaining organized stock. A high school diploma and 2+ years in shipping/receiving are preferred, with ERP/MRP proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
Forklift operation knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and log incoming raw materials and finished goods, verifying against purchase orders and packing slips.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling, weighing, and creating shipping documentation (BOLs, manifests).
Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
Maintain organized inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock rotation and accessibility.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory to ensure accuracy.
Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages in incoming or outgoing shipments.
Operate computer systems to process shipping and receiving transactions and update inventory records.
