Job summary

Qual Pac is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Manager for our Charlotte, NC facility, overseeing daily shipping, receiving, warehouse and inventory operations on-site. You will report to the Plant Manager and lead the Shipping & Receiving team to ensure accurate inventory and timely movement of materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory operations.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or distribution.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping procedures, receiving processes, and warehouse operations.
• Experience supervising warehouse employees and managing daily operational activities.
• Understanding of warehouse safety practices and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate shipping schedules, transportation, and carrier activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor warehouse performance, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Oversee physical inventory counts, cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and inventory consolidation.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions and adherence to Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures.
• Manage the movement of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods between departments.
• Oversee the handling and shipment of rejected products, returns, and donations.
