Wabash is seeking a capable assembler to support the Materials Supervisor in meeting production goals. You will perform a variety of semi-skilled manual duties and ensure work quality aligns with Wabash’s standards.

Ideal candidates have basic computer skills, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime. Safety practices, teamwork, and reliable attendance are emphasized for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience preferred in a similar role.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and AS400 knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor to meet production goals and maintain quality.
• Lead a team of hourly employees as needed.
• Perform semi-skilled manual duties using tools, equipment and safety procedures.
• Adhere to the safety plan and report absences to the supervisor.
• Drive Wabash vehicles to pull parts between plants.
• Load/unload trucks with forklift and prepare parts orders for shipping.
