Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Shipper and Receiver who will handle packing, labeling, and boxing parts for shipment, ensuring accurate paperwork flow between shipping and receiving.

You will operate a forklift, load LTL trailers, and coordinate materials across plant locations while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency. A HS diploma or GED is required, plus basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Requires forklift experience and basic computer/typing skills.
• Excellent communications and customer service abilities are essential.
• Familiarity with FedEx software systems is a plus.
• Basic math skills for inventory reporting are required.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Pull, pack, and label parts for shipment, including boxing parts and building wooden crates.
• Coordinate the efficient and timely flow of shipping and receiving paperwork.
• Operate a forklift to retrieve materials from multiple plant locations.
• Load LTL (less-than-truckload) semi-trailers using a forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Basic computer and typing skills
• AS400 experience is a plus
• Forklift experience is a must
• Excellent communications, customer service and organizational skills, work directly with the customers and outbound services.
• Familiar with Federal Express software systems
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent relevant experience
• Basic math skills for inventory reporting
