The Building People, LLC seeks a Central Shipping and Receiving Lead to oversee inbound/outbound shipments, security, and related procurement support for the AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (RX).

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in shipping/receiving leadership and cost-analysis using RSMeans, with eligibility for government clearance and a willingness to undergo background checks. Telework may be limited by customer requirements in this role.

Position Summary

The Building People, LLC seeks a Central Shipping and Receiving Lead to manage receiving, shipping, and purchase-cost analysis functions supporting the AFRL Materials and Manufacturing Directorate (RX).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Central Shipping and Receiving operations, including inbound and outbound shipments and package security.
• Perform purchase request cost analysis, verifying costs using RSMeans.
• Coordinate with the COR and Contract Manager on procurement approvals and cost

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing and overseeing Central Shipping and Receiving operations.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchase request cost analysis, including verifying costs in RSMeans.

Certifications & Screening

• Ability to obtain a favorable NACI or Tier 1 background investigation and CAC.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification.
• Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.
• Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.
