Mazzella Companies is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at the Virginia Beach location to verify, prepare and record all shipments. You will operate ERP and UPS WorldShip, load and unload trucks, inspect, package and ship items, and coordinate with internal departments and carriers to meet scheduled ship dates.

The role requires forklift operation, ability to lift 50 pounds, strong communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklifts.
• Must lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and planning skills.
• Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy.
• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to multi-task.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify.

Responsibilities

• Verify, record and prepare shipments; ensure on-time delivery.
• Operate ERP system and UPS WorldShip; maintain shipping/receiving records.
• Inspect, package, weigh and ship per fabrication tickets.
• Process paperwork and enter quantities in the system.
• Coordinate loading/unloading and forklift operations as needed.
• Plan, coordinate and schedule shipments with departments and carriers.
