Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented Shipping Clerk to support the shipping department. You will designate shipment methods, verify information against bills of lading, prepare cartons, affix labels and ensure accurate packaging for outgoing orders.

This role emphasizes reliable data entry, basic MS Office use, and the ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment. No prior experience required; 1+ year preferred; competitive wages and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years experience in record keeping or using internal computer systems to access and document shipping or receiving records preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, strong Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Designates method of shipment, routes and rates.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against records.
• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers.
• Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and padding.
• Nails covers on wooden crates and binds containers with tape using a strapping machine.
• Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
• Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records shortages and coordinates with shippers to rectify damages.
• Routes items to departments and ensures shipments meet specifications.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
