Job summary

McCormick's Bindery - A Division of Fox Group is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to coordinate daily shipping/receiving, handle documentation, data entry, and materials movement in a fast-paced warehouse in New Jersey.

The role requires attention to detail, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Forklift experience is a plus; prior warehousing exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics or material handling.
• Ability to prepare shipping documents and perform basic calculations.
• Basic computer skills including email and MS Office.
• Attention to detail, organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work OT or adjusted hours as needed.
• Ability to operate in warehouse, dock and production areas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving priorities and dock schedules.
• Serve as liaison with carriers, drivers, customer service and internal departments.
• Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, labels and delivery receipts.
• Enter and maintain shipment, receipt, inventory, weight and tracking data in ERP.
• Verify materials against documents and report discrepancies.
• Label, pack, stage and move materials for shipment or internal movement.
• Load trucks and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain organized docks and inspect shipments for damage and compliance.
• Follow safety procedures and support inventory accuracy and audits.
