Job summary

FOX Factory in El Cajon, CA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support the shipping department and handle clerical duties for material shipments. You will verify bills of lading, prepare shipments, label cartons, and maintain shipping records while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires basic MS Office and Excel skills, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment. No prior experience is required, though 1+ year in shipping or records is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in record keeping or using internal computer systems to access and document shipping or receiving records preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Designates method of shipment, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
• Verifies information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Affixes shipping labels on cartons and stencils shipping information on cartons.
• Assembles containers and inserts items using spacers and protective padding.
• Packs, seals, and prepares shipments; posts weights and shipping charges.
• Manages inventory of shipping materials and records outgoing shipments.
