Job summary

Common Citizen in Michigan seeks a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to own inbound and outbound flow at the Jackson facility. You will verify receipts, stage shipments, and perform shift reconciliations, following standard work and 5S principles.

The role supports inventory counts, uses Metrc/ERP, and collaborates with the Production department to ensure accurate, compliant shipments. Monday–Friday shift 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with data entry and scanners.
• Ability to produce daily reports and shift handoffs.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Experience in regulated environments (cannabis, food, pharma) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound shipments against packing lists or manifests.
• Stage and verify outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy before load.
• Maintain organized inventory; count receipts and reconcile variances.
• Record transactions in Metrc/ERP and generate daily reconciliation reports.
• Escalate discrepancies, safety issues, and paperwork problems to supervisors.
• Follow SOPs and maintain 5S in the shipping area.
