Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Clerk in El Cajon, CA. The role assists the shipping department, handling clerical duties for shipments, labeling, packing, and route coordination. Basic Excel and MS Office skills are required; reading and writing English is essential.

No prior experience is required, but 1+ year of record keeping or using internal systems to document shipping or receiving records is preferred. The position is on-site with standard manufacturing environment duties.

Qualifications

• HS graduates or equivalent required.
• No experience required, but 1+ years keeping shipping/receiving records is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Must be able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Designate shipping methods based on routes, rates and procedures.
• Verify counts, weights, and information against bills of lading and orders.
• Affix shipping labels and identify information on cartons using labels or stencils.
• Assemble or select containers and pack items with padding as needed.
• Operate or assist with tier-lift or hand trucks to move shipments.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and records of outgoing shipments.
• Direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving shipments when needed.
