Job summary

Ontic in Creedmoor, North Carolina, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on receiving and occasional shipping. You will process receipts in the Epicor ERP, verify shipments against POs, and maintain accurate inventory records.

You will prepare outgoing shipments with UPS, FedEx, and other carriers, ensure proper packaging and labeling, and collaborate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP data entry.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift 20–40 lbs regularly; up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shipping and receiving operations with a primary focus on receiving and provide shipping coverage as needed.
• Process receipts in the Epicor ERP system, ensuring PO quantities match delivered quantities.
• Review CoCs and receiving docs for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify incoming vendor orders against POs and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other services.
• Ensure outgoing materials are properly packaged, labeled, and documented for shipment.
• Maintain inventory records and perform basic inventory transfers in ERP.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with quarterly/annual physical inventories.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Quality and other teams to resolve issues.
• Follow safety, inventory control, and compliance procedures.

Our team is looking for a **Shipping and Receiving Clerk** to join them. You will report to the **Warehouse Manager** and will have an **onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina**. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations with a primary focus on receiving while providing shipping support as needed. This position is responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory records and documentation, and supporting the efficient movement of materials throughout the operation. **Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off.
