Job summary

Ontic is seeking an experienced Material Handler for an on-site role in Chatsworth, CA. The position supports the warehouse team, ensuring accurate material movement and strict inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

You will verify receipts, perform cycle counts, and manage stockroom flows using ERP tools while maintaining safety and accuracy. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of stockroom and inventory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP inventory management software; basic Excel, Outlook and Word.

Responsibilities

• Verify and receive materials into the stockroom, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedures.
• Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Manage material movement within the stockroom and plant, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials using equipment.
• Work with a team to maintain an efficient and accurate inventory management process.
• Store and organize materials with proper labeling and traceability.
• Perform kitting activities and assemble components according to instructions.
• Enter inventory data into the ERP system and maintain up-to-date stock records.
• Process perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical movement.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies with attention to detail.
• All other duties as assigned.
