Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies, LLC is hiring for a warehouse role in Everett, WA. The role covers receiving and unloading materials, inventory sorting and logging, and inspecting shipments for damages. You will operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.

2nd and 4th shifts are available, with a compensation range and benefits. Candidates must have a GED/HS diploma and forklift experience, and be able to work PPE-required conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
• Forklift experience (sit-down preferred) - 1 year.
• Ability to wear PPE as required in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming materials and verify packing slips against purchase orders.
• Sort, count, package, label, inspects, and logs inventory.
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report discrepancies.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, or forklift for loading/unloading.

Schedule:

2nd Shift (Monday – Friday; 2pm- 10:30pm), 4th shift (Friday - Sun 6:00am-6:00pm)

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
• May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in shop conditions and can be in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit

• Compensation range: $21.30 - $25.00 (DOE)

Requirements:

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
