Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Receiving Warehouse Clerk in Charlottesville VA to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Clerk, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team supporting inbound and outbound logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Inspect containers and trailers upon arrival to ensure safety and compliance.
Unload inbound shipments and verify contents against documentation in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Count, receive, and properly store inventory in designated locations.
Pick, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment safely and only after completing company-provided certification or training.
Support other departments such as inventory control, order picking, or kitting as needed.
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift, performing warehouse operations, procedures, and using basic warehouse equipment.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for most of the shift.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
