Responsibilities

• Inspect containers and trailers on arrival for safety and compliance.
• Unload inbound shipments and verify contents against documentation in the WMS.
• Count, receive, and store inventory in designated locations.
• Pick, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely after training.
• Support inventory control, order picking, or kitting as needed.

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping Receiving Warehouse Clerk in Charlottesville VA to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Clerk, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team supporting inbound and outbound logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Clerk

Location: Charlottesville, VA

Pay Range: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What’s the Job?

• Inspect containers and trailers upon arrival to ensure safety and compliance.

• Unload inbound shipments and verify contents against documentation in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Count, receive, and properly store inventory in designated locations.

• Pick, stage, and load customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment safely and only after completing company-provided certification or training.

• Support other departments such as inventory control, order picking, or kitting as needed.
