Automation Personnel Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of materials, verify shipments, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse.

This full-time, temp-to-hire role runs Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm, with forklift operation required and safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
• Must have a valid sitdown forklift certification (or able to pass company test on hire).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy for logging shipments and printing shipping labels.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load/unload shipments from flatbeds, trailers, and containers.
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, or purchase orders for accuracy; inspect for damages.
• Prepare, pack, wrap, and label outgoing products and materials per company standards and shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep loading dock, warehouse aisles, and staging areas clean and compliant with safety regulations.

Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Automation Personnel Services is searching for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a warehouse team in Greensboro, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing flow of materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and safely operating machinery to load and unload shipments.

Pay Rate

$18.00-$20.00 / hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift to load/unload flatbeds, trailers, and shipping containers.
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, or purchase orders to ensure accuracy; inspect goods for damages.
• Prepare, pack, wrap, and label outgoing products and materials according to company standards and shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep the loading dock, warehouse aisles, and staging areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
