Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Shipping & Receiving role in Oak Creek, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift with hours from 7:00am to 4:00pm and a wage of $21.00-$23.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments, picking and packing orders, preparing shipping documents, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining accurate ERP records.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach for entire shift.
• Experience with forklifts and warehouse equipment.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures and noise.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Prepare packing lists and shipping documents.
• Load/unload trucks and containers with warehouse equipment.
• Enter transactions into the ERP system.
• Pull materials for production and replenish stock.
• Perform cycle counts and basic product inspections.
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule shipments.
• Maintain a safe, clean warehouse environment.

QPS Employment Group is hiring for a Shipping & Receiving role for a company in Oak Creek, WI. This is a potential to hire opportunity on 1st shift.

Position Title: Shipping & Receiving

Wage: $21.00-$23.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• - Receive, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
• - Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for domestic and international shipments
• - Prepare packing lists, Bills of Lading, and other shipping documentation
• - Load and unload trucks and containers using warehouse equipment
• - Enter shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions into the ERP system
• - Pull materials for production and replenish floor stock as needed
• - Perform cycle counts, inventory organization, and basic product inspections
• - Request freight quotes, schedule shipments, and coordinate with carriers
• - Operate forklifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely
• - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while working with customer service, accounting, and production teams

Shipping & Receiving Requirements:

• - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• - Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
• - Ability to safely operate forklifts, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment
• - Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic product inspections
• - Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
