Job summary

QPS Employment Group is seeking 1st shift Warehouse Forklift Operators in Columbus, WI for a client. The role is direct hire with a 6:00am–2:00pm shift and hourly wage of $21.00. You will move materials, pick orders with RF scanners, and stage/loading items while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include handling pallets, loading trucks, and completing required paperwork. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, the ability to work in varied temperatures, and training on

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly, from floor to pallet height.
• Able to perform repetitive motions and climb stairs/ladders as needed.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and dusty environments.
• Strong reading of small print and color differentiation.

Responsibilities

• Move materials to production, packaging lines and storage areas.
• Pick customer orders using RF scanners from picking lists.
• Stack pallets to maximize space and stability while minimizing damage.
• Stage orders for loading and ensure timely dispatch.
• Load trucks per shipping schedules and optimize trailer capacity.
• Operate stand‑up/sit‑down/reach forklifts; training provided.
• Complete documentation such as pick lists and packing/shipping documents.

Position Title: Warehouse

Wage: $21.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Location: Columbus, WI

QPS is looking for 1st shift Warehouse Forklift Operators for a client in Columbus, WI! These positions are direct hire where you are hired to the client from day one.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Move materials to and from production and packaging lines, and in to warehouse storage area, correcting any damages that may occur in the put-away process
• Pick customer orders from picking list utilizing RF scanners
• Stack pallets using best practices to maximizing space and stability, while minimizing potential damages
• Stage orders in advance of customer arrival for loading
• Load trucks according to shipping schedule, and in a manner that maximizes trailer capacity and stability, and minimizes in-transit damages
• Operate material handling equipment (stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, reach truck, pallet jacks, etc. training provided by Fromm)
• Complete documentation (pick lists, bill of ladings, receiving documents)

Requirements for Warehouse:

• Able to lift up to 50lbs on a continuous basis, from floor level to top of pallet (up to 84”)
• Able to perform repetitive motions for assigned tasks
• Able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Able to work at elevated levels if required
• Able to work in various temperatures including extreme heat, humidity and cold
• Able to work in environment containing dust and potential allergens and smells
• Able to perform basic visual requirements, read small print and differentiate colors
• Excellent depth perception and judgement of distance, combined with hand-eye coordination
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
