Job summary

PPC Flex in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a self-motivated Shipping/Receiving associate for the first shift. This full-time role handles inbound and outbound shipments, prepares shipping documents, pulls inventory, packs and labels, and schedules pickups.

You will verify shipments against records, determine shipping methods, record weights and dates, operate the RF scanner, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to resolve issues while supporting production with required supplies.

Qualifications

• High school-level mathematics.
• Read and write English.
• Understand standard and metric measurements.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments contents and compare with records for accuracy.
• Prepare documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping orders.
• Determine shipping methods using knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates.
• Record shipment dates, weights, charges, space availability and discrepancies for reporting.
• Contact carriers to arrange shipping and delivery and issue instructions.
