Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a shift supervisor responsible for the daily operation of the department. You will assign and review work, resolve shipment issues, and ensure compliance with procedures.

The role involves supervising 16-25 employees, maintaining equipment, and processing shipments with accuracy and safety in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include data entry of receipts and inventory, safety adherence, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand various shipping/receiving documents.
• Ability to accurately enter information into software & systems using keyboard.
• Basic understanding of mechanical operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team by assigning tasks and reviewing work.
• Supervise 16-25 employees; ensure safety and compliance with rules.
• Coordinate and perform shipments, validate drivers, and review bills of lading.
• Maintain and inspect departmental equipment (scales, forklifts, batteries).
• Record goods receipts, inventory movements, and costs with data entry.
