Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Shipping Team Manager for our Greenfield, Indiana facility. You will lead a shift to ensure safety, quality, and productivity while driving cost efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include enforcing EHS policies, coaching staff, and participating in Kaizen events to optimize manufacturing processes. Strong leadership and Lean Sigma knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required with 3+ years leadership in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and improve processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Sigma and Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS) principles.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets.
• Enforce safety policies and drive safety improvements.
• Coach and evaluate team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Support continuous improvement events and Kaizen activities.
• Ensure SOPs and audits are followed and drive lean manufacturing projects.
