Job summary

Avery Dennison in Greenfield, IN is hiring a Plant Manager responsible for overall operational results and senior oversight of daily facility operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely.

You will lead multiple teams, drive strategic plans, coach leaders, and embed the company’s ethics and leadership principles while advancing continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of multi-functional Operations experience including management and development.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations and plant management in industrial manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight in optimizing daily facility operations.
• Participate in the annual operating plan process, understand long-term strategic plans, and establish site goals.
• Manage multiple teams and shifts, coordinate resources, and streamline processes across departments and functions to achieve high levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a safe, healthy, and productive work environment.
• Coach leaders and team members, provide clear feedback, attract top talent, build organizational capability, and foster an inclusive workplace culture.
• Champion continuous learning, ensuring all team members are empowered with clear, actionable, and well-communicated annual goals.
• Align workforce planning and resource allocation to outpace the competition, ensuring the flawless execution of growth priorities.
• Lead by example as a proactive change agent, cultivating a highly collaborative culture that unites teams and creates a burning desire to exceed shared business goals.
