Responsibilities

• Maintain shipping department and ensure product processing per customer specifications
• Ensure shipping associates keep a clean, neat, orderly warehouse
• Maintain forklifts and related equipment
• Coordinate with shipping manager on scheduling
• Oversee packaging and storage processes
• Assist with loading procedures as needed
• Communicate with shipping manager and production supervisors
• Directly supervise shipping department associates
• Enforce safety and quality standards across the department
• Plan, assign and direct the work force
• Ensure orders are billed and shipped correctly
• Notify Shipping Manager of personnel issues
• Provide feedback on safety and quality responsibilities
