Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining safety and cleanliness of the storage facility, and using online dispatch and rental systems. Training is provided; focus on regulatory compliance and reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal vehicular regulations while operating forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate an 8,000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from a storage facility.
• Ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Provide customer assistance, including sale of support items and use of online dispatch and rental systems.
• Perform customer-ready inspections of U-Box containers prior to dispatch and upon return.
• Prepare, receive and provide documentation for delivery or pickup of goods.
• Keep warehouse storage facility clean, dry, and secure.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
