Job summary
Air Lift Performance is seeking a 2nd shift Shipping Coordinator in Lansing, MI to supervise daily shipping activities and ensure accurate, on-time order processing. You will monitor workloads, identify delays, and coordinate training to optimize efficiency.
This role requires leadership, strong shipping knowledge, and proficiency with systems like Macola, Agility, Amazon, and Excel. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in shipping/logistics and a proven ability to manage teams and prioritize
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of shipping, warehousing, logistics, or related manufacturing experience.
- At least 1 year of lead or supervision experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of shipping and warehouse processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor customer orders and on-time delivery performance.
- Evaluate daily workload to meet demand.
- Identify delays and take action to keep orders moving.
- Coach and train team members on processes and systems.
- Allocate work based on priorities and due dates.
- Maintain department performance reports and tools.
