Job summary

Panatrol is seeking a proactive Parts Coordinator to move materials from purchase through receiving, inventory, and final shipment. The role requires coordinating diverse freight, vendor communication, and production scheduling to prevent delays in customer commitments.

You will verify incoming material against POs, manage records in the parts management system, and collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and Logistics to resolve shortages and expedite shipments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or related training preferred.
• 2–4 years shipping/logistics experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred.
• Experience with industrial manufacturing, automation, or project-based environments preferred.
• Experience creating Bills of Lading and coordinating LTL freight desirable.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, inventory, or parts management systems preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred with company training provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate UPS/parcel, LTL, vendor-direct, dedicated, and specialized freight shipments for parts, equipment, and projects.
• Obtain and compare freight quotations, select dependable carriers, schedule pickups and deliveries, and track shipments.
• Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips, and shipping labels; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Package, wrap, label, and secure materials for safe transport; palletize and crate as needed.
• Assist with loading outgoing freight and ensure shipments are protected and secure.
• Maintain organized shipping and staging area; build strong carrier relationships.
