Job summary

Hayden Valley Foods in the United States is hiring a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator/Order Puller (Shipping) to safely move products within the warehouse and to load shipments.

Must have stand-up forklift/turret truck experience (minimum 2 years); preferred food manufacturing or warehouse background. Benefits include full options, 7 paid holidays, vacation plus sick time, and a $750 referral bonus.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping & receiving of various items
• Transportation of materials within the facility
• Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency
• Inspect and ensure accuracy of incoming/outgoing product with BOL/Invoice
• Load securing and stacking per company standards
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or RF scanners
• Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report damages
• Complete shipping paperwork and submit documents to Shipping & Receiving manager
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders per company standards
• Verify product quantities, quality, and labeling before shipment
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory control
• Report discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards promptly

Forklift Operator/ Order Puller (Shipping)

Hayden Valley Foods, the nation's TOP privately owned and operated Nut and Snack Company has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator.

Summary

Responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency by safely transporting products, supplies & commodities within the warehouse facility & truck/trailers.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.

Candidate Qualifications

Preferred: Food Manufacturing experience | Warehouse Experience

Required: Stand-up Forklift/ Turret Truck- Minimum of 2 years experience

Essential Functions

• Ensure loads are properly stacked & secured and adhere to company regulations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or RF scanners (training provided if needed)
• Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklifts prior to usage and report to damages and/or repair to direct supervisor
• Complete all paperwork and submit all shipping documents (BOL or similar invoices) to Shipping & Receiving manager
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders according to company standards and customer requirements
• Verify product quantities, quality, and labeling before shipment
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory control as needed
• Report discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

Competencies

• Certification on forklift (both turret truck & stand-up forklift)
• Ability to lift objects & stand for long periods of time.
• Attention to detail. (Ability to pick, pack & load accurately & follow instructions).
• Spatial Awareness (Excellent hand-eye coordination and ability to work in limited space).
• Ability to work at heights
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team to complete job tasks.
• Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction & multiplication (for record keeping).
• Outstanding Organizational Skills.
• (Good verbal & written) for interactions with co-workers & drivers
• Follow instructions & all safety guidelines

Shift Hours

• Fulltime- 40 hours a week
• 2nd Shift- 2 pm to 12 am (Monday to Thursday)
• Shift differential

Compensation & Benefits Package
