Job summary

Hayden Valley Foods is seeking Machine Operators for the 2nd shift (2 pm–12 am, Mon–Thu; some training on 1st shift). You will own assigned machinery, meet production goals, and ensure GMP, HACCP, and proper labeling while collaborating with production management and the QC team to prevent contamination.

Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $19.50 per hour DOE with full benefits, life insurance, and multiple paid holidays. A background check and pre-employment drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Food Manufacturing experience or Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand the process of the job and maintain product quality.
• Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF and related food safety trainings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for taking ownership of assigned machinery and meeting production goals while following company policies and food safety protocols.
• Coordinate with production management and QC to identify and eliminate risks and ensure labeling and packaging accuracy.

Summary:

Responsible for taking ownership of assigned machinery and tasked production goals. Ensures all company policies and food safety protocols are followed while partnering with both production management and QC team to identify and eliminate risks while meeting production goals.

Physical Demands of Position:

Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch throughout the duration of work shift. Required to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasional lifting over 75 pounds.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Required:High school diploma or GED
• Food Manufacturing experience | Warehouse Experience

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Ability to understand the process of the job required.
• Make sure the quality of the product meets requirements.
• Knowledge of a scale and tape gun
• GMP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF and all food safety/pre-requisite program trainings
• Making sure the quality of the product meet requirements
• Making sure each box has the correct label.
• Making sure packaging is correct to prevent any kind of contamination.

Shift Hours:

• 2nd Shift- 2 pm to 12 am, Monday to Thursday (10-hour shift)
• * Some training may be required on 1st shift.
