Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises is seeking a Shipping Manager for our Grand Prairie Distribution Center. The role leads a team of hourly associates on a 3rd shift starting at 9 PM, with oversight arriving about an hour early.

You will plan workloads, manage shipping/receiving, and drive safety and quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of management in supply chain distribution, familiarity with WMS/LMS, and knowledge of OSHA/DOT regs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years hands-on warehouse experience.
• 2–5 years’ management experience in supply chain distribution.
• WMS and LMS experience preferred.
• Proficient with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Experience with LEAN, KAIZEN and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan workload and manage production in a fast-paced DC.
• Lead shift operations including shipping, receiving, cross docking and trailer loading.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in a proactive manner.
• Drive inventory control and quality initiatives to meet service levels.
• Coach and develop hourly associates to enhance teamwork and growth.
