Job summary

Heritage Auctions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to oversee the full shipping process for valuable items. You will lead a team, coordinate packing, labeling, documentation, and tracking, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding accuracy and security.

Based in the Dallas area, you will collaborate with inventory, compliance, and customer service, implement process improvements, and report performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the shipping process, including packing, labeling, documentation, and tracking of shipments.
• Supervise and train a team of shipping coordinators and staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the safe handling and packaging of items, preventing damage during transit.
• Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure accurate records and proper storage of items awaiting shipment.
• Address and resolve shipping-related inquiries and issues from clients, providing exceptional service and support.
• Ensure all shipping activities comply with local, national, and international regulations and company policies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve shipping processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present regular reports on shipping activities, performance metrics, and inventory status to senior management.

SUMMARY:

LOCATION:

South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, at the northwest corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
