Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking a Shipping Coordinator I to manage ground, air, and sea shipments, ensure on‑time departures, and maintain clear customer communications. You will create shipping documents such as BOLs and packing lists in SAP, keep data accurate, and analyze KPIs to optimize shipment volume and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP system.
• Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics operations including ground, air, and sea shipments and ensure on-time departures.
• Create shipping documents such as BOLs and packing lists using SAP, maintaining accuracy.
• Analyze KPIs and reports to optimize shipment volume, profitability, and efficiency.
• Apply 6S methodology to drive continuous improvements in logistics processes.
• Work independently with attention to detail under deadlines and follow safety rules.
