Responsibilities

• Set and confirm delivery appointments with customer docks based on order ready dates and transit times.
• Coordinate with Customer Service on ship dates and changes to quantities or delivery instructions.
• Communicate with customers to schedule, reschedule, or troubleshoot dock appointments and delivery issues.
• Track and manage appointment windows to avoid missed deliveries and detention charges.
• Maintain accurate appointment and load records in the TMS/ERP system.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with fleet and market carriers to cover outbound freight.
• Source and negotiate spot market coverage for loads outside dedicated capacity.
• Maintain relationships with core carriers and monitor on-time performance.
• Resolve carrier issues in real time and arrange alternate coverage when needed.
• Maintain trailer yard visibility and coordinate with yard to optimize loading/shipping schedules.
