Job summary

The Jay Group Inc is seeking a Shipping Liaison in East Hempfield Township, PA to coordinate the flow of products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring on-time deliveries and accurate carrier documentation.

You will work with Manhattan WMS, carrier systems (FedEx, UPS), and internal teams to resolve issues, prepare BOLs, and ensure Hazcom compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma, basic warehouse experience, and strong attention to detail; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift or warehouse equipment certification preferred.
• Hazcomm training preferred.
• Management of freight shipment and BOL experience.
• 6 months–1 year shipping experience in a fast-paced warehouse strongly preferred.
• Detail oriented and organized with strong multitasking.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence and follow safety instructions.
• Proficient with WMS and MS Office (Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Process outgoing small parcel shipments using WMS and carrier programs.
• Examine shipments to meet specifications.
• Identify and sort small parcel labels by carrier.
• Identify hazardous packages requiring special handling.
• Load trucks as required and create BOL.
• Attach shipping labels to packed cartons.
• Maintain Hazcomm documentation and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and carriers to ensure on-time deliveries.
