Job summary

Gunnebo Group is seeking an entry level Shipping Coordinator to assist the Shipping Lead and Management by coordinating outbound duties and ensuring on-time shipments.

You will work with multiple departments, operate the ERP system, and support material handling and packing activities in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education and two years of factory related experience in similar role in shipping and receiving.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is a plus.
• Read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• Must utilize computer for basic data entry related to shipping tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Carry out shipping responsibilities, including completing required tasks in the ERP system.
• Schedule timely pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer’s purchase order.
• Ensure final inspections and proper paperwork with signoffs from Operations.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain adequate supply of shipping materials on hand.
• Forward requisition for shipping materials for approval.
• Keep a clean, organized work area and equipment per safety regulations.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment per procedures.
• Participate in Lean initiatives and 5S protocols.
