Responsibilities

• Prepares documentation, maintains records, and coordinates logistics for product shipment.
• Leads communications within the Shipping/Receiving area. Coordinates both Domestic and International freight forwarder transactions.
• Ensures selection of freight forwarders based on cost and delivery objectives.
• Maintains shipping records and provides tracking information in appropriate systems.
• Prepare boxes with appropriate labels for shipment.
• Provide guidance to others within the shipping/receiving area.
• Communicate status of shipping/receiving activities to appropriate personnel.
• Review open customer orders and create pick worksheets as needed to meet shipping schedules.
• Generate shipping output documents and customer invoicing upon shipping; audit reports daily.
• Coordinate shipping with freight carriers and communicate volumes and priorities to Shipping Supervisor.
• Stay knowledgeable of current international import/export regulatory requirements.
